Abstract

Hepatitis B is a viral infection that attacks the liver and causes acute and chronic diseases and is potentially a life-threatening liver infection. The purpose of this study was to determine HBsAg picture in donor blood. This type of research is descriptive research. Research data was obtained from PMI Sambiroto, Central Java. The method used for HBsAg examination is the Elisa method. The results showed that out of 60 donors, 1 respondent had a positive male Hepatitis B. The respondent had never immunized and the transmission was obtained from the respondent's family, 59 respondents consisting of 25 female and 34 male respondents - men obtained negative HBsAg examination results.
