Abstract

Background: Fertile Age couples who were new KB participants in Central Java were 6,727,894 PUS in 2016 and 54.2% used the method of contraceptive injections. The most family planning acceptors in Karangdadap Subdistrict, Pekalongan Regency in 2017 were injectable family planning acceptors, which amounted to 3983 people (63.6%). One of the side effects of 3-month injectable birth control is spotting. 3-month injection KB acceptors who experienced spotting of 255 acceptors (8.8%). If spotting is not treated immediately it will cause menoragia and anemia. Purpose: Implement pathology midwifery care on 3 month injection contraceptive injectors with spotting according to varney obstetric management. Methodology: This Final Report is a case study report using descriptive method with location in Puskesmas Karangdadap Pekalongan Regency, Ny case study subjects. F 22 years old PIA0 acceptor KB injection 3 months with spotting conducted from January 22 to April 20, 2018 with primary and secondary data collection techniques. Results: From the care given can be seen that the spotting experienced Ny. F 22 years old is a side effect of 3 months of injections can not be overcome with treatment and Ny. F chose to substitute injectable KB with IUD contraception. Conclusion: From case Ny. S there is a gap between the theory and the case that is on the physical inspection is not done inspekulo examination. Keyword: KB, Spotting
