Abstract

Background: Pre eclampsia is a complication of acute pregnancy and can occur in antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum (Prawirohardjo, 2012). The risk of pre-eclampsia also increased in the pregnancies of mothers who had already experienced pre-eclampsia in a previous pregnancy. If this is not handled quickly and accurately, pre-eclampsia will soon turn into eclampsia, which is infection and bleeding that can be fatal for the mother. From the 2017 data of the Donorojo Health Center there were 216 cases of high risk of pregnant women with 19 cases of pre eclampsia, which consisted of 5 cases of severe preeclampsia and 14 mild pre eclampsia. For Pre-Eclampsia cases, there were 4 cases of primiparous pregnancies in cases and multiparous cases, whereas in Pre-eclampsia Mild cases were found in multiparous pregnancies as many as 10 cases and primiparous cases 4 (Data Profile of Donorojo Health Center 2017). In the case of Mrs. K with severe preeclampsia, it was found during the third trimester of pregnancy with hypertension and positive urine protein. 2. Mrs. K had received appropriate treatment procedures so that conclusions could be drawn that the case management was in accordance with the existing theory.
