Abstract
Hypertension is an increase in blood pressure, both diastolic and systolic, lost or persistent. Hypertension can occur essentially (primary or idiopathic) where the causative factors cannot be identified, or secondary, due to certain diseases suffered. effective therapy for hypertensive clients who experience stress is the provision of rose aromatherapy. That is by using the aroma of roses to help reduce stress. The design used was descriptive study. The author describes the management of cases of hypertensive patients by applying rose therapy scents based on the results of research with the nursing process approach. The results of this case study report are proven that giving rose therapy is very effective for reducing stress in hypertensive patients. The result is that giving rose therapy for 1 day of stress remains with the DASS42 measuring instrument showing 16 (mild stress). The provision of rose aromatherapy can be recommended to reduce stress in hypertensive patients. Keywords: Hypertension, Rose therapy aroma, Stress.
