Abstract

Background: The results of basic health research (Riskesdas) in 2013 showed that gout in Indonesia was based on a diagnosis of health workers at 11.9%. The prevalence of gout in Central Java in 2013 based on diagnosis of health workers by 11.2% or based on diagnosis and symptoms by 25.5% (Riskesdas, 2013). Research method: In this study the authors used the descriptive study method by using the nursing approach process. The subjects in this case study were clients with gout tahtritis. Presentation of data by using material analysis content by comparing theories with facts found on clients. Overview: When taking the case 19 - 25 February 2018. The place for taking this research was at the Posyandu for the elderly rose of Blimbing Kidul Village in the Work Area of the Dawe Community Health Center. Method of research by giving warm compresses for 1 week, gout levels at the beginning of the study and after giving a warm compress therapy. Conclusion: From the results of the study of the treatment of warm compresses for 1 week to clients with gout athtritis, it was found that the treatment of warm compresses resulted in a decrease in gout levels in clients with gout athtritis.
