Abstract

Background: In taking the title of this research based on the incidence of diabetes mellitus experienced by the community around Sayung 1 health center is quite high. So the authors want to reduce the incidence of diabetes mellitus in the community around the Sayung 1 health center by using non-pharmacological therapy for diabetes mellitus gymnastics experienced by residents around the health center, so that daily activities can run normally. Research method: In this study the authors used the descriptive study method by using the nursing approach process. The subjects in this case study were clients with diabetes mellitus. Presentation of data by using material analysis content by comparing theories with facts found on clients. Overview: When taking a case 14 February 2018 - 3 March 2018. The place for this research was taken at Sayung Health Center 1. How to do research by giving diabetic exercise techniques for 1 week 3 times, checking blood sugar levels at the beginning of the study and after giving diabetes gymnastic therapy . Conclusion: From the results of the study of giving diabetes mellitus therapy for 3 weeks to clients with diabetes mellitus, the results showed that diabetes gymnastic therapy has an effect on reducing blood sugar levels in clients with diabetes mellitus. So that it can be used as an alternative non-pharmacological treatment to reduce blood sugar levels.
