Abstract

Hypertension is increasing of the blood pressure which consistently occurred and can lead to renal failure. One of the management for renal failure is hemodialysis which needs good vascular access to keep blood pressure controlled. One of the therapy to lowering the blood pressure is music therapy. This case study aim is to know about the the effectiveness of classical music on hypertension patient with renal failure and undergo hemodialysis. The method is by comparing the decrease of the blood pressure on patient which is conducted classical music therapy with the patient which is not conducted classical music therapy. This case study has been done on March 2018 in hemodialysis ward in bhayangkara semarang hospital. The result of this case study is declining the systolic as 20mmhg and diastolic 10mmhg in patient which undergo the classical music therapy. This decreasement is because the classical music can make relax, vasodilatation happened in the blood vessel so that decreased the blood pressure. Key word: blood pressure, music therapy
