Abstract
Diarrhea interpreted as defecate with feces shaped liquid and pulpy with the frequency of the three times within 24 hours. In the etiology, diarrhea can be caused by infection, intoxication, allergic, reaction medicines and also the factor of psychic. Cause diarrhea most is of infections. Diarrhea infection can be caused by a virus, bacteria, and parasitic. Because of an infection in diarrhea and caused increase in the number of leukocyte. Leukocyte take part to help fighting an infection in the body. Leukocyte sustaining bodies of attack of illness with in a consuming manner of these diseases. Spinal cord will produce more many cells leukocytes as the body detects the presence of infection. Based on their age and long diarrhea can be seen the image of the number and type of leukocyte that rises. Outcomes patients of diarrhea caused by infection parasitic shows amount of eosinophils rose and diarrhea because bacterial infection show the total number of monocytes rose. Research purposesto know description the count and kind of leukocytes in people with acute diarrhea of infections. The kind of research is research descriptive. Total of 15 samples obtained from Hospital St. Elisabeth Semarang, then examined used a hematology ABX Micros 60 and with blood the edge of. Results of the inspection shows results the count of leukocytes normal is 10 samplw regions (66,67%) and the count of leukocytes that more than normal is 5 sample regions (33,33%) with a kind of leukocytes that rises which is a type of cell eosinophils. Key words : Acute Diarrhea, Leukocytes Count, Types of Leukocytes.
