Kata Kunci : Buku, STEM, Kearifan lokal Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi kurangnya peminatan peserta didik terhadap matematika dan keterbatasan bahan ajar dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas V MI Muhammadiyah Dumeling pembelajaran yang monoton dan membosankan karena tidak ketertarikan peserta didik terhadap matematika terutama pada materi bilangan pecahan yang dianggap peserta didik susah dan kesulitan dalam berhitung, karena peserta didik lebih paham ketika pembelajaran menggunakan ilustrasi lingkungan sekitar. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut maka perlu adanya bahan ajar yang bisa memotifasi peserta didik agar tertarik kembali terhadap matematika. Bahan ajar tersebut yaitu berupa buku ajar STEM dengan tema kearifan lokal. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menentukan kelayakan valid dan praktis media ajar yaitu berupa buku STEM tema kearifan lokal ini. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model ADDIE dengan tahapan Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. Metode berupa observasi, wawancara dan kuisioner. Teknk pengambilan sempel yaitu convenience sampling. Subjek uji coba penelitian adalah 9 peserta didik dari beberapa sekolah yang ada di brebes untuk uji coba skala kecil dan 34 peserta didik di MI Muhammadiyah Dumeling untuk uji skala besar. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan lembar penilaian oleh angket validasi ahli dan angket respon peserta didik dan pendidik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa buku STEM tema kearifan lokal memperoleh data penilaian dari ahli materi dan ahli media sebesar 3,46 dan 3,68 dengan kriteria Sangat Valid. Buku ajar STEM tema kearifan lokal ini diujicobakan ke 34 peserta didik dengan skor 3,34 dengan kriteria sangat valid dan praktis, sedangkan respon dari 2 pendidik memperoleh skor sebesar 3,66 dengan kriteria sangat valid dan praktis. Keywords: Books, STEM, Local Wisdom This research is motivated by the lack of interest of students in mathematics and the limitations of teaching materials in the learning process in class V MI Muhammadiyah Dumeling monotonous and boring learning because students are not interested in mathematics, especially in fractional material which is considered difficult by students and difficulty in counting, because students understand better when learning using illustrations of the surrounding environment. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to have teaching materials that can motivate students to be interested in mathematics again. The teaching materials are in the form of STEM textbooks with the theme of local wisdom. The purpose of this study was to determine the valid and practical feasibility of teaching media in the form of a STEM book with the theme of local wisdom. This research is a development research using the ADDIE model with the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. Methods in the form of observation, interviews and questionnaires. The sampling technique is convenience sampling. The subjects of the research trial were 9 students from several schools in Brebes for the small-scale trial and 34 students at MI Muhammadiyah Dumeling for the large-scale test. This research instrument uses an assessment sheet by expert validation questionnaires and student and educator response questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that the STEM book on the theme of local wisdom obtained assessment data from material experts and media experts of 3.46 and 3.68 with very valid criteria. The STEM textbook with the theme of local wisdom was tested on 34 students with a score of 3.34 with very valid and practical criteria, while the responses from 2 educators scored 3.66 with very valid and practical criteria. Based on these results, it is concluded that the textbooks developed are practical to use
