Abstract

The number of Indonesians who already know about family planning programs was 95%, but only 61% of family planning awareness programs were reliable because of unacceptable methods with honesty of family planning, individual health, and sexuality. women or the cost of obtaining contraception. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of knowledge and husbands support about selection of contraceptive type used in mothers who work in kelekahan jeketro Grobogan. The design of this research was descriptive study. Respondents of this research are active family planning acceptors in RW 02 Jeketro urban village, gubug regency hub. Grobogan. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. Result of research got that knowledge of respondent in category enough 57,3%, husband support in category support 57,3%, contraception chosen by respondent is natural as much 61,0%. Based on these results, especially Puskesmas is expected to always provide motivation to the community through the promotion of health, continuous counseling and the provision of facilities that can facilitate information about effective contraception that helps direct the mother to change her behavior to choose effective contraception or even contraception steady.
