Abstract

Latar Belakang: Penyakit DBD merupakan penyakit yang sangat berbahaya karena dapat menimbulkan wabah dan menyebabkan kematian. Kelompok usia Taman Kanak-kanak (TK) yang berkisar 4-5 tahun berisiko terkena DBD. Kontainer air yang ada di sekolah memiliki potensi untuk menjadi habitat perkembangbiakan nyamuk Aedes sp. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kepadatan vektor Dengue di sekolah TK. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif yang menggambarkan kepadatan vektor di sekolah TK. Hasil: TPA yang banyak ditemukan di sekolah TK yaitu dengan jenis bak mandi (51,2%), berada didalam ruangan (90,7%), berbahan plastik (51,2%) dan berwarna biru (30,2%). Sebagian besar sekolah TK memiliki pencahayaan ruang kamar mandi yang memenuhi syarat (≥50 lux) yaitu sebanyak 60,9%. Larva dan pupa ditemukan pada TPA berjenis bak mandi yang terletak berada didalam ruangan dengan bahan TPA yaitu semen dan keramik serta TPA berwarna biru, merah, putih, dan abu-abu. Spesies vektor Dengue yang ditemukan di lingkungan sekolah TK yaitu Aedes aegypti dan Aedes albopictus. Hasil rata-rata CI dari 23 sekolah yaitu 26,09% dan rata-rata PI yaitu 20,65%. Upaya pengendalian vektor yang dilakukan sekolah TK yaitu Pemberantasan Sarang Nyamuk (PSN) sebanyak 100% dan pelaksanaan abatisasi sebanyak 21,7%. Upaya pencegahan DBD yang dilakukan oleh sekolah TK yaitu dengan melindungi kulit dari gigitan nyamuk diantaranya dengan penggunaan repellent dan seragam panjang. Simpulan: Kepadatan vektor pada 23 sekolah TK dapat dilihat berdasarkan nilai CI dan PI yaitu nilai CI rata-rata sebesar 26,09% dan nilai PI rata-rata sebesar 20,65%. The age group of Kindergarten ranging from 4-5 years old is at risk for dengue fever. The water containers that exist in the school have the potential to become a breeding habitat of Aedes sp. This study aims to determine the density of vector Dengue in kindergarten schools. Method: This type of research is descriptive describing vector density in kindergarten schools. Result: water containers found in kindergarten schools (51.2%), indoor (90.7%), plastic (51.2%) and blue (30.2%). Most Kindergarten schools have eligible bathroom room lighting (≥50 lux) of 60.9%. Larva and pupa are found in water containers of bathtub type located inside the room with water container material that is cement and ceramics and water container is blue, red, white, and gray. The Dengue vector species found in the kindergarten school environment are Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus. The mean CI result of 23 schools is 26.09% and the mean PI is 20.65%. Efforts to control the vector of kindergarten schools that is the eradication of mosquito nest (PSN) as much as 100% and the implementation of abatisasi as much as 21.7%. DHF prevention efforts conducted by kindergarten schools that is by protecting the skin from mosquito bites among them with the use of repellent and uniform length. Conclusion: The vector density of 23 kindergarten schools can be seen based on CI and PI values, which is a mean CI value of 26.09% and a mean PI value of 20.65%.
