Abstract

Telah dilakukan sintesis membran zeolit ZSM-5 secara coating pada suhu 90oC berdasarkan variasi jenis ukuran kasa dalam menurunkan kadar gas CO. Membran zeolit ZSM-5 adalah prekusor zeolit ZSM-5 yang disintesis secara coating pada penyangga kasa dengan suhu 90°C. Material penyangga yang digunakan dalam mensintesis membran zeolit adalah kasa stainless steel. Kasa jenis 304 ukuran 100 mesh, 200 mesh, 400 mesh, jenis AISI 316 ukuran 180 mesh sebelumnya dilakukan perlakuan agar membran zeolit pada saat coating dapat tumbuh dengan baik yaitu dengan perendaman NaOH 15%, HCl 15%, ultrasonic cleanser dan dielektrooksidasi H2SO4 20% dengan voltase konstan 3-5 V & kuat arus 0,01 A lalu dikeringkan pada suhu 110C (Gao, 2011). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji adanya pengaruh membran zeolit ZSM-5 yang disintesis secara coating pada suhu 90°C berdasarkan variasi jenis ukuran kasa dalam menurunkan kadar gas CO. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan penentuan uji One Way Anova. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan persentase penurunan kadar gas CO berdasarkan variasi jenis ukuran kasa 304 ukuran 200 mesh, 304 ukuran 400 mesh, AISI 316 ukuran 180 mesh diperoleh rata-rata persentase penurunan kadar gas CO sebesar 10,07%, 12,10%, dan 15,07%. Kapasitas adsorpsi membran zeolit ZSM-5 berdasarkan variasi jenis ukuran kasa 304 ukuran 200 mesh, 304 ukuran 400 mesh, AISI 316 ukuran 180 mesh dalam menurunkan kadar gas CO diperoleh rata-rata yaitu 8.322,54 mg/g, 79.722,62mg/g, 87.359,51 mg/g. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh bahwa penurunan kadar gas CO dan adsorpsi membran zeolit ZSM-5 tertinggi adalah kasa Stainless Steel jenis AISI 316. Uji One way anova menunjukan nilai signifikansi 0,00 maka ada pengaruh membran zeolit ZSM-5 yang disintesis secara coating pada suhu 90°C berdasarkan variasi jenis ukuran kasa dan kapasitas adsorpsi membran zeolit ZSM-5 dalam menurunkan kadar gas CO. Kata kunci: Gas CO, Membran zeolit ZSM-5, Variasi kasa stainless steel ZSM-5 zeolite membrane have done synthesis by coating at a temperature 90°C based on the variation of the type of the size of the mesh in the lower level of gas CO. ZSM-5 Zeolite membrane is ZSM-5 prekusor that is synthesized by coating on the cradle the mesh wire with the temperature of 90°C. The buffer material used in the zeolite membrane synthesis is the mesh stainless steel. The mesh type of 304 100 mesh size , 200 mesh, 400 mesh type of AISI 316 180 size mesh previously performed a roadways treatment zeolite membrane at coating can grow well namely with soaking tub NaOH 15%, HCl 15%, ultrasonic cleanser and in electrooxidation H2SO4 20% with constant voltage 3-5 V & strong flow of 0.01 A and dried at a temperature of 110°C (Gao, 2011). The purpose of this research is to test for the influence of the ZSM-5 membrane of the zeolite synthesized by coating on the temperature of 90°C based on the variation of the type of the size of the mesh in the lower level of gas CO. The type of this research is to experiment with the determination of the One-Way Anova test . The results of the study showed the percentage decrease in gas CO based on the variation of the type of the size of the mesh 304 200 mesh size, 304 400 size mesh, AISI 316 180 size mesh obtained the average percentage decrease in gas CO of 10,07%, 12,10%, and 15,07%. The capacity of the zeolite membrane adsorpsi 5 ZSM based on variations in the type of the size of the mesh 304 200 mesh size, 304 400 size mesh, AISI 316 180 mesh size in lower level of gas CO obtained the average namely 8.322,54 mg/g, 79.722,62mg/g , 87.359,51 mg/g. The research results obtained that decreased gas CO and adsorpsi 5 ZSM zeolite membrane is the highest Stainless steel mesh type of AISI 316. One way anova test shows the value of the significance of the lowest rate was from 0.00 so there is the influence of the membrane of the 5-ZSM zeolite synthesized by coating on the temperature of 90°C based on the variation of the type of the size of the mesh and the capacity of the zeolite membrane adsorpsi 5 ZSM against decreased gas CO.
