Abstract
Examination of rapid anti HIV usually using samples of whole blood and serum.Whol;e blood is a liquid contained in the red blood vessel consists of two parts namely cell and serum ,blood cells composed of erythrocytes,leukocyt,and platelats.Serumis the liquid on top the blood clot that does not contain cells and blood cells do not contain elements of freezing but contain elements of which are proteins that act as the antibodi. The purpose of this research is to know the difference of inspection results with anti hiv raid test using is sample of whole blood and serum. Based on research result from a total 60 samples examined by the method rapid tes, retrieved caption anti hiv rapid inspection resultexamination results obtained using blood samples of whole blood that included as many as 25 catagories of non reactif sample or 83.3 percen and the 5 catagories of reactif as many as 16.7 percen.While the use of serum samples are included in the catagories of non reaktif samples 24 or 80.0 %, including the requirement of reactive samples as 6 or 20 %. From acros the total samples.Based on the results of the calculation of the statistical test chi square retrived value signivicant 0.00 < 0.05,then it can be concluded there is difference of anti hiv rapid examination results between that in whole blood samples using a check with which in check by using samples serum.
