Abstract
Background: Electric Cigarette (vape the instrument for obtaining nicotine besides of cigarettes conventional. Behavior consumption vape in indonesia started to of 2010 and rising. In Yogyakarta there are community Paguyuban Vaper Yogyakarta ( PAVY ). The results of a study introduction shows that , use informants vape because its effects are not is more injured than conventional cigarette. The purpose research to know the behavior cigarette consumption electric cigarette (Vape) in the city of Yogyakarta. Method: The kind of research qualitative. Informants main namely users vape in yogyakarta and informants supporting a salesman in vapestore, head of pavy, a maker of liquid and the that have stopped smokers.Data collection by in-depth interviews and observation.Processing and analysis of data using a method of miles and haberman. Result: Informants at the present time feel more comfortable and it is a pleasure to consume vape, because which they believe to as yet there is no of the health impacts one us dollar is now is considered to have been and it had not yet there was evidence that vape give rise to a disease. Conclusion: The majority of informants said that vape better and there is not yet of the health impacts than consume conventional cigarette. Keywords: Vape, behavior, consumption of vape
