Abstract
Background: Fire management training (APAR operation) by members of the fire management team that is conducted once a week or once every two weeks for workers cannot walk alone must be accompanied by the head of the PMK (Fire Car Officer). The fire management team at PT Pura Barutama Kudus works for 24 hours divided by 3 work shifts that must be prepared to deal with fires at any time. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes with fire preparedness behavior. Methods : The type of research used is analytic observational research that is used to analyze the relationship between variables with a cross sectional approach design. The sample used in this study were 30 respondents to the fire prevention team, using a total sampling technique which is a sampling technique in which the total sample is the total population. Results : The knowledge of the fire management team is not good enough as many as 10 people (33.3%). The attitude of the fire management team in the negative category was 12 people (40.0) and the positive category was 18 people (60.0). Preparedness behavior with poor category is 12 people (40.0) and good category preparedness behavior is 18 people (60.0). The relationship of knowledge with preparedness behavior with p value 0.045. Relationship of attitude with preparedness behavior with p value 0,000. Conclusion : There is a relationship between knowledge and attitudes with fire preparedness behavior.
