Abstract
Background: Maternal and infant mortality rates in Grobogan Regency decreased, in 2015 maternal deaths amounted to 149.92 / 100,000 KH (live births), in 2016 decreased to 127.19 / 100,000 KH. The infant mortality rate also decreased in 2015 by 17.44 / 1,000 KH, in 2016 it dropped to 17.22 / 1,000 KH (Dinkes Grobogan, 2016). The incidence of breech pregnancy in Puskesmas Geyer II Grobogan Regency in 2017 was 7 cases, 4 births in hospital with Caesarean section (mom and baby healthy), 2 spontaneous births in hospital (mom and baby healthy), 1 spontaneous birth in Puskesmas (mom taken to the hospital because of bleeding, the baby dies). Pregnancy is a natural process, if it is not managed properly it will give complications to the mom and fetus healthy. Pregnancy with breech position is also one of the causes of maternal and infant mortality. The purpose of handling breech position during pregnancy is to prevent malpresentation on childbirth (Sarwono, 2009). The method used in this case is observation using 7 steps of Varney. Result : The case of Mrs. K with breech pregnancy, after midwifery care with 2 weeks knee chest regularly are monitored from ass presentation to head presentation.
