Abstract

Background: The immediate cause of death of pregnant women is bleeding, hypertension in pregnancy, infection, circulatory system disorders, metabolic disorders, and others.Mild anemia contributes to the cause of Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) that is bleeding, and Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED) could cause Anemia. Based on the preliminary study at Bangetayu Public Health Center, Semarang City obtained data of pregnant mother with mild anemia in January - March 2018 that is 81 people and Chronic Energy Deficiency 36 people. Purpose: To provide Midwifery Care in Trimester III Pregnancy with the Mild Anemia and Chronic Energy Deficiency at Bangetayu Public Health Center Semarang City under the midwife’s authority. Methods: The methods used in this principlesare anamnesis, physical examination, investigation, and observation. Results: Mrs. A, GIP0A0, age 20 years, pregnant33+5weeks, single intrauterine life fetus, prolonged position, head presentation, vinegar, convergent with mild anemia and chronic energy deficiency. Mothers are willing to take iron supplements and eat nutritious foods.Hemoglobin increases 1.9 g/dL from 9.0 g/dL (April 9th, 2018) to 10.9 g/dL (May 8th, 2018), LILA increases from 22 cm (April 10th, 2018) to 24 cm (May 10th, 2018). Conclusions: Provision of Fe 60 mg tablets 1x1 / day and 400mg Folic Acid 1x1 / day could raise the hemoglobin. Keywords: Anemia, Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED)
