Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeteksi gen Coa pada Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah empat sampel bakteri MRSA (Sa1, Sa2, Sa3, Sa4). Deteksi gen Coa : 1) Isolasi DNA bakteri MRSA dengan metode Chelating Ion Exchange Resin (Chelex). 2) Amplifikasi gen Coa dengan metode PCR menggunakan primer spesifik Forward (5´- ATAGAGATGCTGGTACAGG-´3) dan primer Reverse (5´GCTTCCGATTGTTCGATGC-3´). 3) Visualisasi hasil PCR dengan metode Elektroforesis gel Agarose. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa empat sampel bakteri MRSA (Sa1, Sa2, Sa3, Sa4) positif memiliki gen Coa yang berukuran 756 bp.
