Abstract

Tuberculosis is contaminate diesase due to Mycobacterium tuberculosis the spreading source is positive TB BTA. The patiens sperad microba in the air in the form of droplect (phlegm fragment). This maybe caused by lact is knowledge about the behavior of self - protector of tool use, the aim of the reseach is to know about the correlation between between self protected equipment with the incidence of tuberculosis on health staff of wolowaru health center. The type of research used is descriptive analytic research with cross sectional aproach. Population and sample are health staff of wolowaru health center with the amounth of respondents were 37 people. In statistical test with chi square between independent variable of use self protected equipment with the dependent variable incidence of tuberculosis. The result indicates that there is no significant correlation between independent variable of use self protected equipment with the dependent variable incidence of tuberculosis (p=0,340; ɑ=0,05). it is suggested to health staff of wolowaru health center to use self protected equipment when they worked in the wolowaru health center.
