Abstract

Examination of hematocrit can be done by methods microhematocrit and Analyzer. Micro inspection methods the principle of blood with anticoagulant in a centrifuge for 15 minutes at a speed of 3000 rpm, so that the blood cells and plasma separated, while the analyzer has a principle of the method of detection based on high pulse erythrocytes. Objective to determine differences in hematocrit value with the analyzer. Type of research is analytic research. Samples were taken by "Purpose Sampling" as many as 30 samples from the total population of all male patient polyclinic Yakes Telkom, then the sample was examined using microhematocrit method and method analyzer. The results showed the average results of the examination methods microhematocrit 43%, while the average yield checking analyzer method 44% hematocrit. This shows the results of analyzer method hematocrit higher than microhematocrit method, but both are still within the limits of normal values. Statistical test independent sample t test showed a significance value of 0.05 is 0.051 ≥ 0.05 so it can be concluded that there is no difference between the results of hematocrit methods microhematocrit with the analyzer.
