Abstract
The labolatory diagnosis of typhoid fever that a lot is using Widal test ang IMBI methods. The purpose of this study is to determine the suitability of the result of thypoid fever by using Widal slide and IMBI. This research is observetinal approach comporative study comparing the dependent variable. The location of this research is in the Laboratoriun Klinik Prodia Sragen. All subject of this study is patients from August to December 2016 with a clinical diagnosis of thypoid fever. Serum samples from patients were examined using Widal methods and IMBI methods. Data were analyzed, descriptively, and presented in tabular form to its sensitivity and its specitivity and also percentage of its positifity level. The result of the examination of thypoid fever by using Widal slide show sensitivity as much as 69% and as much as 69% against the spensitivity IMBI methods. A total of 58 samples of suspected patients tested positive for thypoid fever get the amount of 40% using Widal methods ang 22% using the IMBI methods. Keywords : Typhoid fever, Widal, IMBI
