Abstract
Aim of this study was to determine differences in microscopic picture Ca mammae tissue fixed with neutral buffered formalin 10% and 70% Alcohol by looking at the absorption and color uniformity in the nucleus and cytoplasm using Hematoxylin eosin staining. Selection of 70% alcohol solution because this solution is more common in the market and easier to fabricate. Research analytic cross sectional design using 60 samples that were fixed 2-neutral solution that is buffered formalin 10% 30 samples and 30 samples of 70% alcohol made preparations histology by Hematoxylin eosin staining then rated picture preparations. Result observation microscopic picture Ca mammae fixed with Buffer neutral formalin 10% 73% obtained good results and 27% less good results. Fixation Alcohol 70% obtained 23% yield unfavorable results. good 77% thus seen from the total score of the rating table microscopic picture showed different results in the second fixation, concluded Buffer neutral formalin 10% better for fixation network, especially Ca mammae tissue.
