Abstract

Overview Anxiety of Toddler-Age Childreen immunization Who was Given Distraction of Cartoon video at Bujangan Semarang Public Heatlh Cernter. Anxiety is a mood disorder characterized by feelings of fear or worry deep and ongoing, not impaired in judging reality, the personality is still intact, the behavior can be disturbed but still in normal limits. Anxiety is a response that often occurs in children during immunization. At the age of toddler shows anxiety when do medical action to react with crying, screaming, refrain from hitting up the procedure by kicking. The purpose of this research was to know anxiety of toodler conducted immunization by distraction of video cartoons in puskesmas Bugangan Semarang. These research was conducted on Februari 2017 to 40 respondents. The kind of these research is descriptive with observational method and cross sectional appoarch, using total sample. The result of this research is from 40 respondents were given the distraction of the video cartoons when immunizations are experiencing anxiety as much as 65% as many as 26 children and not worry as much as 35% as many as 14 childrens. The Result of statistic test with Kolmogorov 65% the value of P is 0,003 (<0,005). Based on these results then the child still shows signs of anxiety when immunization who given video cartoon. Based on resecrh results distraks cartoon video enough to distract the child when the immunization will be done. In subsequent research is expected to provide comfort to children after the immunization action. Keyword : aniety, immunization, distraction of the video cartoons
