Abstract

ABSTRACT MOTORCYCLE TESTS USING MATERIALS OF FUEL AND GAS (Blue Gas) IN REVIEW OF EMBROIDERY GAS EMPIRE ASPECT Arranged by : EDWIN FAUZI C2A114007 Fossil fuels are a very important source of energy in everyday life, especially in the field of transportation and is a source of non-renewable energy is a motorcycle with a majority using a carburetor engine. Testing fuel alternatives to fuel oil is fuel gas (Blue gas). The test was conducted in the laboratory of Undip Engineering Phenomenon, using Honda Supra 125 engine in 2012. With motorcycle engine testers using gas fuel (Blue Gas) and premium in review of the exhaust aspect using Fluid disk brake and gas Analizer obtained sufficient result . After doing the test of the comparison graph CO content can be seen that the CO content produced by the engine with premium fuel CO content lowest at 3000 rpm engine speed of 2.096 vol% and the highest at 7000 rpm engine speed of 3.966% vol blue Gas CO levels lowest at 3000 rpm engine speeds of 0.264 vol% and the highest at 7000 rpm engine speed of 2,729% vol, the gasific comparison of CO2 levels can be seen that the CO2 content produced by the engine with the lowest premium CO2 fuel in the 3000 rpm engine speed of 9.22 % vol and highest at 7000 rpm engine speed equal to 7,31% vol gas blue gas CO2 lowest at engine speed 3000 rpm equal to 14,87% vol and highest at engine speed 7000 rpm equal to 12,13% vol. Keywords: Premium and Blue Gas aspects of exhaust gases.
