Abstract

Background: Increased fertility is influenced by high number of fertile couples, the number of fertile couples in Rembang City on 10 February 2017 in Sarang sub-district 11,357 with age of first married based on age criteria under 21 years occupying the highest level of 81,02% . Objective: To know the relationship between married first age, frequency of sexual intercourse, and use of contraception type with incidence of fertility in Sarang District of Rembang Regency. Method: This research is an analytical obsevasional with cross sectional approach, independent variable: First Age Married, Frequency of Sexual Relations and Use of Contraception Type. Dependent variable: Fertility Occurrence. Sample of 100 respondents with random sampling technique. Result: From the research result show age of first time married category> 16 year 98 respondent, frequency of sexual relationship category not ideal as much 56 respondent and use contraception type category yes 77 respondent. From the calculation results using Chi-Square states that it is suspected to have relationship with the incidence of fertility in Sarang District Rembang District, there is only one variable that proved to have relationship that is the frequency of sexual intercourse (p-value 0,007). Conclusion: There is a relationship between the frequency of sexual intercourse. There is no relationship of age first married, use of contraceptive type with incidence of fertility.
