Abstract

Change of hematology in pregnancy can lower hemoglobin levels, especially in the first pregnancy. The first pregnancy is pregnancy is pregnant women who have new fetus. The first pregnancy is usually unaware of her pregnancy health. Normal hemoglobin level in pregnant women is 11 gr%. The general purpose of this study was determine the picture of hemoglobin levels in the first pregnancy of pregnant women. While the specific purpose is to describe hemoglobin levels in the first pregnancy based on the pregnancy trimester, age, education, and consumtion of Fe tablets. This type of research is descriptive with case approach. This study was conducted on 32 respondents of pregnantwomen in the first pregnancy in June to October 2017. Mother with first pregnancy based on trisemester 100 % of trisemester one has hemoglobin below normal. While in the third trisemester there were only 33,3 %, based on age factor highest of anemia in the age of 15 – 20 years is 50 %, while based on education factors of pregnant women with elementary school education experience 100 % with abnormal hemoglobin. For regular consumption of Fe tablets of pregnant women with anemia only 5,9 %. Keywords: Hemoglobin levels; Pregnant women first pregnancy.
