Abstract

ingredient and consuming it will cause a decrease in consciousness. Alcoholic drinks when consumed continuously can damage the body because the metabolism of alcohol will produce free radicals and then can change the structure and function of the kidney. Creatinine levels in the blood will increase when kidney function is reduced. The purpose of this research is to know the description of creatinine level in consuming alcohol based on duration and frequency of consumption. This type of research is descriptive. Samples were taken randomly as many as 31 people from Godong Village population Godong District Grobogan District with the level of light category alcohol consumption. The results of the examination showed that creatinine concentration in consuming alcoholic beverages based on long consuming for> 5 years was found 78,9% creatinin level more than normal limit, whereas based on frequency of consuming alcohol with frequency <3 times a week most (71,0%) creatinine is more than normal, so an average value of 1.47 mg / dl, with the lowest levels, 0.4 mg / dl and the highest concentration of 2.20 mg / dl.
