Abstract
Background: Service utilization of BPJS Health services is the process of obtaining comprehensive health services for participants. Services utilization cannot be separated from family perceptions and support of participants. Based on a preliminary study, Wangandawa Village had the lowest service visits compared to other villages in the Kaladawa Puskesmas area, namely 706 visits including Medical Center (BP) and laboratory services (459), Maternal and Child Health (69) and referral to Hospitals (178) from participants BPJS PBI and non PBI. Purpose: To find out the relationship between participants' perceptions and family support by utilizing BPJS Health services in Wangandawa Village, Talang District, Tegal Regency. Method: It is a descriptive research with Cross-Sectional approach method. The study population was 750 families with a sample of 90 heads or housewives. The independent variables are participants' perceptions and family support, and the dependent variable is the use of BPJS Health services. Analysis of the study using Chi-Square test, significance level <5%.Results: research results showed that 70% of respondents had a positive perception of the use of BPJS Health services. As many as 36.7% of respondents did not get support from families in utilizing BPJS Health services, and 56.7% of respondents who did not take advantage of BPJS Health services: There was a correlation between participants' perceptions (p=0.029 and OR=2.949) and there was no family support relationship (p = 0.145) Conclusion: There is a correlation between participants' perceptions and the utilization of BPJS Health services and there is no relationship between family support and the utilization of BPJS Health services.
