Abstract

(602 Case), Between there cause a maternal mortality rate in centra of java 27,08% caused by hypertension on the pregnancy. (Department of health centra of java, 2016). In Pekalongan 2017, there were 16 cases of maternal deaths in which 6 cases of (37,5 %) died after giving birth/postpartum, of the 6 deaths there were 4 cases (66,6%) caused by preeclampsia/exlampsia. (Department of health Pekalongan 2014-2017). Whereas in Puskesmas Karanganyar, Pekalongan district of centra java was recorded a maternal mortality rate in 2015 there were 4 cases (100%), died during childbirth, 1 case (25%), because preeklampsia/ eclampsia and in 2017 there was 1 case (100%) died during childbirth and was due to preeklampsia. (Puskesmas Karanganyar 2015-2017). Preeclampsia is a disease with signs of hypertension, edema and proteinuria that arise due to pregnancy. Preeclampsia is devided into 2 groups, namely mild preeclampsia and severe preeclampsia. Purpose:Knows and able to carry out postpartum obstetric midwifery care with preeclampsia using the varney midwifery management approach. Method : Using descriptive method in the study case with using the varney midwifery management approach method. Result: After doing midwifery care with bed rest to Mrs.M 36 years old, PIII A0, 2 hours post partum with Mild Preeclampsia, blood pressure returns to normal. Conclusion: In to Mrs.M 36 years old, PIII A0, 2 hours post partum with Mild Preeclampsia, after doing midwifery care with bed rest to according to the theory, the condition returns to normal.
