Abstract

Toilet training is a big task at the age of a toddler by educating children to teach defecation (defecation) and urinate (micturition) so that the child becomes clean. Teaching toilet training mother's role is very important to be responsible for independence, namely by providing health education. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of health education on respondents about toilet training for children aged 1-3. This type of research uses descriptive method. The sample amounted to 3 respondents, where the study was conducted at PAUD Al BURHAN Sumberejo Mranggen Village Demak. The results of the implementation of health education are very helpful because it can provide information on respondents who initially did not know to be know so that they can change unhealthy behavior into healthy behavior. When re-evaluating there has been a change and there is influence between before being given health education and being given health education. It was concluded that health education can influence someone to change one's behavior. Keywords: health education, toilet training
