Abstract

Background: In taking the title of this study based on the incidence of hypertension experienced by the community around Sidorekso health center in the Posyandu area of the elderly rose in Blimbing Kidul Village. So the authors want to reduce the incidence of hypertension in the community around Sidorekso health center by using non-pharmacological therapy for cucumber juice, so that daily activities can run normally. Research method: In this study the authors used the descriptive study method by using the nursing approach process. The subjects in this case study were clients with diabetes mellitus. Presentation of data by using material analysis content by comparing theories with facts found on clients. Overview: Time for taking the case 12-18 February 2018. The place for this research was taken at the Posyandu for the elderly of Blimbing Kidul Village in the Working Area of the Sidorekso Community Health Center. The method of research is by giving cucumber juice for 1 week, blood pressure checks at the beginning of the study and after giving cucumber juice therapy. Conclusion: From the results of the study of the treatment of cucumber juice for 1 week to clients with hypertension, the results showed that cucumber juice therapy has an effect on reducing blood pressure in clients with hypertension.
