Abstract

Murottal Al-Qur'an is an Al-Qur'an reading therapy which is a religious therapy. The purpose of this case study is to investigate the influence of the Qur'an murottal the level of preoperative anxiety in patients laparotomy. The design used in this case study is a descriptive study. The subject of this case study is 2 women aged 30-45 years. This case study in the surgical ward (ayyub 2) of Roemani Hospital Semarang. Murottal Al-Qur'an intervention was given 10 minutes of murottal therapy performed one day before surgery and two hours before surgery. The results of case studies indicate that there is a decrease in the level of anxiety in patients. The percentage decrease in anxiety scale in patient 1 was 90% and the percentage of scale-reducing anxiety in patient 2 was 60% with the average percentage reduction in scale in patients was 75%. Murottal Al-Qur'an can reduce the patient's anxiety level. Murottal Al-Qur'an can be one of the nursing interventions to reduce anxiety levels in patients with laparotomy surgery.
