Abstract

The aging process is closely related to hypertension, this disease is also one of the main problems in the public health field in Indonesia and the world. Hypertension is one of the most influential factors as heart disease. For that, it is necessary to handle blood pressure without side effects, namely handling with murrotal therapy in elderly hypertension to reduce blood pressure. Burrotal therapy requires balanced sympathetic and parasympathetic nerves that make the patient calm and relax so that it can lower blood pressure. The purpose of the application is to be able to apply Murratal nursing care to the elderly with hypertension in the Anggrek Panti Wredha room in Semarang. There is a decrease in blood pressure after being given murratal therapy with an average reduction of 30-20 mmHg. Keywords: Hypertension, Murottal Therapy, Elderly Hypertension
