Abstract
Background: In 2016 the National Health Indicators Survey (Sirkesnas) saw the figure increase to 32.4 percent (Central Java Provincial Health Profile, 2015). Research shows starfruit juice has an effect on reducing hypertension consumed in the morning. So the authors are interested in conducting a case study of starfruit juice administration for patients with hypertension as one of the non-pharmacological therapies. Research method: In this study the authors used the descriptive study method by using the nursing approach process. The subjects in this case study were clients with hypertension. Presentation of data by using material analysis content by comparing theories with facts found on clients. Result : When the case was taken February 26 - March 3 2018. The place for this research was taken at the Guntur Health Center 2. The method of research was to provide starfruit juice for 1 week, blood pressure was checked at the beginning of the study and after therapy of starfruit juice therapy. Conclusion: From the results of the assessment of the treatment of starfruit juice therapy for 1 week to clients with hypertension, the results showed that the administration of starfruit juice therapy has an impact on blood pressure reduction in clients with hypertension.
