Abstract

Permasalahan pada penelitian ini adalah rendahnya percaya diri dan keaktifan peserta didik dalam mengikuti pembelajaran serta rendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah yang dimiliki peserta didik dalam pembelajaran disebabkan pembelajaran yang menggunakan model pembelajaran ekspositori. Banyak peserta didik yang belum mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimal pada materi sistem persamaan linier dua variabel. Mengimplementasikan lesson study model pembelajaran think pair share dengan pendekatan kontekstual merupakan salah satu cara untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui implementasi lesson study model pembelajaran think pair share dengan pendekatan kontekstual terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah, percaya diri dan keaktifan peserta didik. Lesson study merupakan pembelajaran yang direncanakan, dilaksanakan dan diamati. Tahap perencanaan (plan) menyusun perangkat pembelajaran berupa RPP, silabus, LKPD, lesson design, instrumen soal dengan mengimplementasikan model pembelajaran TPS dengan pendekatan kontekstual.Tahap pelaksanaan (do) merupakan proses pembelajaran dengan mengimplementasikan lesson study model pembelajaran think pair share dengan pendekatan kontekstual, serta kegiatan mengobservasi keaktifan peserta didik, dan keseluruhan proses pembelajaran, selain itu di akhir pembelajaran peserta didik diberikan angket percaya diri. Tahap refleksi (see) merupakan tahap merefleksi proses pembelajaran secara keseluruhan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen, dengan populasi seluruh kelas VIII SMP N 1 Limbangan tahun pelajaran 2018/2019. Sampel penelitian yaitu kelas VIII A, VIII B, dan VIII C dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Simple Random Sampling. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian adalah percaya diri dan keaktifan, sedangkan variabel terikat adalah pemecahan masalah. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, dokumentasi, observasi, angket, tes evaluasi, uji ketuntasan, uji pengaruh, dan uji beda rata-rata. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa peserta didik dapat mencapai ketuntasan kemampuan pemecahan masalah, secara individual mencapai rata-rata 84,47 dan secara klasikal mencapai 88,23%. Sedangkan besar pengaruh percaya diri dan keaktifan terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah adalah 83%. hasil uji beda rata-rata menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan rata-rata kemampuan pemecahan masalah kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol. Rata-rata kelas eksperimen adalah 84,47, sedangkan rata-rata kelas kontrol 72,38. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa nilai kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik pada materi sistem persamaan linier dua variabel dapat mencapai ketuntasan, terdapat pengaruh percaya diri dan keaktifan, terdapat perbedaan rata-rata peserta didik yang mengimplementasikan lesson study model pembelajaran think pair share dengan pendekatan kontekstual dengan peserta didik yang menggunakan pembelajaran ekspositori. The problem in this study is the low self-confidence and activeness of students in following learning and the low problem-solving abilities possessed by students in learning due to learning that uses the expository learning model. Many students who have not achieved the minimum completeness criteria in the two-variable linear equation system material. Implementing lesson study learning model think pair share with a contextual approach is one way to overcome these problems. The purpose of the study was to find out the implementation of lesson study learning model think pair share with a contextual approach to problem solving skills, confidence and activeness of students. Lesson study is learning that is planned, implemented and observed. The planning stage composes learning tools in the form of RPP, syllabus, LKPD, lesson design, question instruments by implementing the TPS learning model with a contextual approach. The implementation stage (do) is a learning process by implementing lesson study learning model think pair share with a contextual approach, and the activity of observing the activeness of students, and the whole learning process, besides that at the end of learning students are given a self-confidence questionnaire. The reflection stage (see) is the stage of reflecting the overall learning process. This research is an experimental study, with a population of all class VIII SMP N 1 Limbangan academic year 2018/2019. The research samples were class VIII A, VIII B, and VIII C with the sampling technique using Simple Random Sampling. The independent variable in the study is self-confidence and activity, while the dependent variable is problem solving. Data collection methods in this study were interviews, documentation, observation, questionnaires, evaluation tests, completeness tests, influence tests, and average difference tests. The results of the study can be concluded that students can achieve the completeness of problem solving skills, individually reaching an average of 84.47 and classically reaching 88.23%. Whereas the influence of confidence and activeness on problem solving ability is 83%. the results of the average difference test show that there are differences in the average problem solving ability of the experimental class with the control class. The average experimental class is 84.47, while the control class average is 72.38. So it can be concluded that the value of problem solving ability of students in the material system of two-variable linear equations can achieve completeness, there is an influence of confidence and activity, there are differences in the average learners who implement lesson study learning model think pair share with contextual approaches with students which uses expository learning.
