Abstract
Depression is a time disturbance function of human about natural feeling sad (mood) and the indication too, including how the feeling changes in sleep patterns and the appetite. There are a few aspects in causes of depression, biology factor, genetik factor and pyscosocial. The purpose of this research is to know how connect the depression to factory workers in the PT. Yang Ming International. The kind of this research is descriptif research and the method is analytic survey with design appoarch cross sectional. The total population is 140 persons, sampling technique is purposive sampling and has been obtained 104 respondents. The value of this research is depression to factory workers is category are not depress (9,6%), category are mild depress (33,6 %), and category are mediums depress (56,7%). When the factory workers have excessive workload, less to take a rest, work hard, a little time to work and work demands will be influence the factory workers to have a stress and depression. The solution to factory workers can control various busy schedule and challances with manage the time and do the exercise 15-30 minutes everyweek. Keywords : Depression and Factory Workers
