Abstract
Carbohydrate intake is one of the factors that affect the blood sugar levels of the disturbances in the metabolic system, especially in patients suffering from type II diabetes mellitus. Nurses should be attempted and collaborate in preventing the increase in blood sugar levels so that the risk of complications in patients with type II diabetes mellitus can be minimized, among others, always controlling your intake of carbohydrates consumed by people with diabetes mellitus. This study aims to determine how much influence the intake of carbohydrates on blood sugar levels of studies done from 13-18 February 2017 in the village morodemak sampling technique used is the technique of the total sample of 68 respondents, statistical test results obtained p value 0.000 thus concluded that there is a correlation significant (HO rejected), there is a significant relationship between the intake of carbohydrates on blood sugar levels in people with type II diabetes mellitus Morodemak village.
