Abstract

Latar Belakang: Perilaku merokok remaja di Indonesia usia mulai merokok semakin muda (dini) pada usia 10 – 14 tahun. Berdasarkan karakteristik Sekolah, di Sekolah SMA ISTEK terdapat pelanggaran kawasan tanpa rokok dan di SMK Al-irsyad tidak terdapat pelanggaran kawasan tanpa rokok. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskriptifkan persepsi SMK ISTEK dan SMK Al-Irsyad dan Mengetahui perbedaan persepsi dan perilaku merokok pada remaja SMK ISTEK dan Al-Irsyad. Metode : Jenis penelitian komparatif dengan variabel bebas SMK ISTEK dan SMK Al-Irsyad, variabel terikat persepsi picture health warning dan perilaku merokok. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa/siswi SMK ISTEK dan SMK AL-Irsyad, menggunakan teknik proporsional random sampling dengan jumlah 114 responden. Analisis data menggunakan uji man whitney. Hasil : SMK Al-irsyad memiliki persepsi positif (84,6%) dan SMK ISTEK (65,3%) perilaku merokok pada remaja SMK ISTEK (40,8%) dan SMK Al-Irsyad (23,1%). Simpulan : ada perbedaan persepsi siswa SMK ISTEK dengan siswa SMK Al-Irsyad tentang Picture Health Warning Pada Bungkus Rokok dengan P = 0,017 dan tidak ada perbedaan perilaku merokok siswa SMK ISTEK dengan siswa SMK Al-Irsyad dengan P = 0,167. Kata Kunci : Persepsi picture health warning, perilaku merokok, SMK ISTEK dan SMK Al-Irsyad Background: Smoking behavior of adolescents in Indonesia age begin to smoke younger (early) at age 10 - 14 years. Based on the characteristics of the School, in ISTEK High School there are violations of the area without smoking and in SMK Al-irsyad there is no violation of the area without smoking. This study aims to describe the perceptions of SMK ISTEK and SMK Al-Irsyad and Know differences in perceptions and smoking behavior in adolescents SMK ISTEK and Al-Irsyad. Method: Types of comparative research with independent variables of SMK ISTEK and SMK Al-Irsyad, dependent variable perception picture health warning and smoking behavior. The sample in this study were students of SMK ISTEK and SMK AL-Irsyad, using proportional random sampling technique with the number of 114 respondents. Data analysis using whitney man test. Result: SMK Al-irsyad has positive perception (84,6%) and SMK ISTEK (65,3%) smoking behavior on adolescent SMK ISTEK (40,8%) and SMK Al-Irsyad (23,1%). Conclusion: there is difference of perception of ISTEK SMK student with student of SMK Al-Irsyad about Picture Health Warning on Cigarette Package with P = 0,017 and there is no difference of smoking behavior of SMK ISTEK student with student of SMK Al-Irsyad with P = 0,167.
