Abstract
Background: The number of active family planning participants in 2016 was 77.4%, this figure experienced a slight increase from 2015 at 76.2% and still above the SPM target of 70%. Based on data obtained from Bangetayu Puskesmas, Semarang City in 2018, there were 5 people. Objective: To provide emergency obstetric care implant KB acceptors at Bangetayu Puskesmas in Semarang city with Varney midwifery management. Method: The method used in carrying out this care is history, physical examination, and observation. Result: In Mrs. S, PIIA0,32 years old acceptors of KB implants with spotting. Patients were given IEC about side effects of implants, personal hygiene, and blood tablet therapy with 1x1 / day, mother phytommenadione 3x1 / day, mefenamic acid 3x1 / day and the patient did not remove blood spots. Conclusion: At this stage there is a gap between theory and practice. In theory, only provide IEC about blood spots and provide one cycle combination pill therapy or 3 x 800 mg ibuprofen for 5 days. And on the practice of explaining the results of the examinations that have been done, IEC is given about the side effects of implant KB, given IEC about personal hygiene, and giving 1x1 blood booster tablet therapy per day and notifying the mother for repeat visits if there are complaints and home visits will be made.
