Abstract
Childbirth with Sectio Caesarea (SC) method can cause disruption in ASI production. This can be affected by the sensation of pain that is felt postoperatively, thereby reducing the motivation of the mother to breastfeed. The absence of early breastfeeding / Early Breastfeeding Initiation (IMD) affects the failure of the lactation process such as the presence of breast milk dams in the breast. This case study aims to determine the effectiveness of applying marmet massage techniques to increase breast milk production in patients post sectio caesarea. This case study design is a descriptive study that presents an overview of the Marmet Massage technique journal application on breast milk production in all three patients. The subjects of this case study were the first post-SC mothers, 3 patients who were in accordance with the criteria, namely the patient in the second day post sectio caesarea and did not know how to stimulate breastfeeding, BAK was less than 3 times per day. Breastmilk production can increase, with a massage technique that is given with a marmet massage that can smooth the flow of breast milk. Based on observations of the application of giving marmet massage to increase breast milk production, there was an increase in milk production, BAK and increased infant defecation, and a calmer baby. It was concluded that there was an effect of the application of administration of marmet massage techniques on the smooth production of breast milk in patients post sectio caesarea. Keywords: Post sectio caesarea, ASI production, marmet massage.
