Abstract

Permasalahan pada penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan pemahaman konsep peserta didik karena pembelajaran yang menggunakan model pembelajaran ekspositori. Selain itu motivasi dan keaktifan belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran masih rendah. Salah satu upaya untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut adalah dengan menerapkan implementasi Lesson Study melalui model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament dengan pendekatan kontekstual. Lesson study merupakan pembelajaran yang direncanakan, dilaksanakan dan diamati. Tahap perencanaan (plan) menyusun perangkat pembelajaran berupa RPP, silabus, LKPD, lesson design, instrumen soal. Tahap pelaksanaan (do) merupakan proses pembelajaran dengan mengimplementasikan lesson study model pembelajaran TGT dengan pendekatan kontekstual. Tahap refleksi (see) merupakan tahap merefleksi proses pembelajaran secara keseluruhan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui implementasi Lesson Study melalui model pembelajaran TGT dengan pendekatan kontekstual efektif dengan kriteria: kemampuan pemahaman konsep dapat mencapai ketuntasan, terdapat pengaruh motivasi dan keaktifan belajar peserta didik terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep, terdapat perbedaan kemampuan pemahaman konsep peserta didik kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen, dengan populasi seluruh kelas VII SMP N 1 Limbangan tahun ajaran 2019/2020. Sampel penelitian yaitu kelas VII A, VII C, dan VII F dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Simple Random Sampling. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, dokumentasi, observasi, angket, tes evaluasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa peserta didik mencapai ketuntasan kemampuan pemahaman konsep, secara individual mencapai rata-rata 82,77 dan ketuntasan secara kalsikal sebesar 87,09%. Sedangkan besar pengaruh motivasi dan keaktifan terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep adalah 94,4%. Hasil uji beda rata-rata menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan rata-rata kemampuan pemahaman konsep kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol. Rata-rata kelas eksperimen adalah 82,77, sedangkan kelas kontrol 77,54. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa implementasi model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament dengan pendekatan kontekstual terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep peserta didik pada materi segiempat dan segitiga kelas VII efektif. One effort to overcome these problems is to implement the implementation of Lesson Study through the Teams Games Tournament learning model with a contextual approach. Lesson study is learning that is planned, implemented and observed. The planning stage (plan) compiles learning tools in the form of lesson plans, syllabi, LKPD, lesson design, question instruments. The implementation phase (do) is a learning process by implementing the lesson study of the TGT learning model with a contextual approach. The reflection phase (see) is the stage of reflecting on the overall learning process. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the implementation of Lesson Study through the TGT learning model with an effective contextual approach to the criteria: the ability to understand concepts can achieve completeness, there is an influence of motivation and student learning activeness towards the ability to understand concepts, there are differences in the concept understanding abilities of students in the experimental class and control class. This research is an experimental study, with the population of all VII class SMP N 1 Limbangan 2019/2020 school year. The research samples are class VII A, VII C, and VII F with the sampling technique using Simple Random Sampling. Data collection methods in this study were interviews, documentation, observation, questionnaires, evaluation tests. The results showed that students achieved mastery of concept comprehension ability, individually reaching an average of 82.77 and calcical completeness of 87.09%. While the influence of motivation and activeness on the ability to understand concepts is 94.4%. The average difference test results show that there are differences in the average ability of understanding the concept of the experimental class with the control class. The average experimental class was 82.77, while the control class was 77.54. So it can be concluded that the implementation of the Teams Games Tournament learning model with a contextual approach to the ability of students to understand the concept of the quadrilateral and triangle VII class effectively.
