Abstract
Introduction: Enterococcus faecalis is known by the largest bacteria cause infection on root canal treatment. Nowdays, the strerilitation salution has limited infection of bacteria. this study aimed to effectiveness of bacterial extracts of Alpinia galanga. Method: This study was used laboratory experimental design with post test only group design. The concentrations tasted are 30%, 70% and 100%. The test method to for comparing anti - bacterial effect by the difussion inhibition zones extracts of Alpinia galanga at various concentration with the controls.The data were analyzed was using Shapiro Wilk, Levene's test and One way Anova. Results: There antibacterial Alpinia galanga extract at various concentration against Enterococcus faecalis. Shapiro Wilk, Levene's test and One way Anova obtained significant value (P <0.05) Conclusion: Alpinia galanga at various concentrations have antibacterial activity activity against Enterococcus faecalis and potentially an alternative strelitation solution.
