Abstract

Kata Kunci : Kadar Vitamin C, Buah Kersen Culinary fruit including fruits that contain vitamin C, generally people consume lots of cherries when the fruit is ripe, when the fruit is red. This study aims to determine the content of vitamin C in kersen red and light green and to distinguish the levels of vitamin C in red and light green kersen. The method used is spectrophotometric method. The results of this study indicate that on the examination of vitamin C content of red cherry samples have an average vitamin C level of 10.5mg / L and samples of light green cather has average vitamin C levels of 5.5 mg / L. so it can be concluded that there is a difference of vitamin C content between red kersen and young green kersen with thitung result (68,1) bigger than ttable (0,497) or (tcount> ttable). Keywords: Vitamin C, Kersen
