Abstract

Emergency is a condition where the patient needs immediate medical examination, if not done will be fatal for the patient. The speed and accuracy of the help given to patients coming to Emergency Installation (IGD) is required in accordance with the standard of competence and ability so as to ensure an emergency handling with quick response time and proper handling. The data indicated that there is an increase in the number of outpatients and inpatients at IGD RSI Muhammadiyah Kendal there is also a surge of complaints, especially in the patient's family. This research is to know how the level of family knowledge about triasge implementation in IGD with cross sectional survey approach. This research was conducted in January 2018 in IGD RSI Muhammadiyah Kendal room with a total sample of 110 respondents. result of research indicate family of patient that treatment at IGD RSI Muhammadiyah Kendal majority 54 (49,1%) knowledge enough. The Hospital is expected to provide education or health education to family or community in triage implementation so as to reduce complaint level during triage implementation.
