ABSTRAK Ainiyah, Nur. 2022. Pengembangan Modul Berbasis STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Terintegrasi Pendidikan Karakter Tema Kearifan Lokal untuk Siswa Kelas IV SD. Skripsi. Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika. Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang. Pembimbing : I. Venissa Dian Mawarsari, S.Pd.,M.Pd., II. Martyana Prihaswati, S.Si.,M.Pd. Penelitian ini melatarbelakangi oleh adanya penggunaan bahan ajar yang kurang variatif dan kurangnya penerapan berbasis kearifan lokal dalam pembelajaran. Dalam kurikulum 2013 siswa dituntut untuk aktif, kreatif, serta inovatif dan juga siswa yang berkarakter. Namun, pada proses pembelajaran karakter siswa kurang ditumbuhkan, hal ini terlihat pada karakter siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan modul yang lebih variatif dan juga menumbuhkan siswa yang berkarakter serta mendukung terlaksana kurikulum 2013. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengembangkan modul berbasis STEM terintegrasi pendidikan karakter tema kearifan lokal yang valid dan praktis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model Thiagarajan 4D dengan membatasi sampai 3D yaitu define (pendefinisian). Design (perancangan), develop (pengembangan). Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah convenience sampling. Subjek uji coba skala terbatas sebanyak 8 siswa kelas IV B dan uji coba lapangan sebanyak 34 siswa kelas IV A. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, validasi ahli media dan validasi ahli materi, angket respon siwa dan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa validasi ahli media sebesar 3,69 dengan kriteria valid dan hasil validasi ahli materi sebesar 3,58 dengan kriteria valid, hasil respon siswa sebesar 3,84 dengan kriteria sangat praktis, dan respon guru sebesar 3,88 dengan kriteria sangat praktis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pengembangan dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan modul berbasis STEM terintegrasi pendidikan karakter tema kearifan lokal valid dan praktis untuk digunakan bahan ajar matematika. Saran untuk pemanfaatan dan pengembangan lebih lanjut yaitu modul dapat dikembangkan dari materi dan soal-soalnya. Kata Kunci : Pengembangan, Modul, STEM, Pendidikan Karakter, Kearifan Lokal. The background of this research is the use of less varied teaching materials and the lack of application based on local wisdom in learning. In the 2013 curriculum students are required to be active, creative, and innovative as well as students with character. However, in the learning process the character of students is less developed, this can be seen in the character of students in the learning process. Therefore, more varied modules are needed and also foster students with character and support the implementation of the 2013 curriculum. The purpose of this research is to develop STEM-based modules integrated with valid and practical local wisdom theme character education. This research is a development research using the Thiagarajan 4D model by limiting it to 3D, namely define. Design (design), develop (development). The sampling technique is convenience sampling. The subjects of the limited-scale trial were 8 students in class IV B and the field trials were 34 students in class IV A. Data collection techniques included observation, validation of media experts and material expert validation, student and teacher response questionnaires. The results showed that the validation of media experts was 3.69 with valid criteria and the validation results of material experts were 3.58 with valid criteria, the student response results were 3.84 with very practical criteria, and the teacher's response was 3.88 with very practical criteria . Based on the results of research and development, it can be concluded that the development of STEM-based modules integrated with local wisdom theme character education is valid and practical for use in mathematics teaching materials.
