Abstract
The smooth delivery process can be affected by physical factors from the mother and fetus and the psychological condition of the mother can cause fear and anxiety. This is especially true for mothers who first give birth because they generally do not have experience in childbirth. Childbirth assistance is needed to help a person relax so as to increase readiness in the face of childbirth. The aim of the research is to describe the results of nursing care about the description of the husband's accompaniment to the level of maternal anxiety in the active phase of the first labor process. The type of research used is descriptive study using a case study approach. The research subjects were mothers giving birth in the active phase of I primigravida at Roemani Hospital Semarang in May 2018 as many as 3 people. Data collection uses accidental sampling method using questionnaire anxiety level. The results obtained by mothers who were accompanied by their husbands showed moderate anxiety levels with a score of 22-27. The presence of husband's assistance provides peace to the mother so that the mother is relaxed and calm in facing labor. Keywords: Anxiety, Husband's Assistance, Normal Childbirth
