Abstract

Activity therapy is an activity carried out to divert hallucinations. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of activity therapy on writing the frequency of changes in hallucinatory symptoms in schizophrenic patients. This type of research is descriptive study that applies case processing in applying activity therapy to hallucinatory patients with nursing actions in the form of intervention, implementation, and evaluation that were previously observed. Sample numbered 3 patients performed in room 5 Endro Tenoyo RSJD Dr. Amino Gondhohutomo Central Java Province. After doing the research, the observation data was obtained before and after therapy, the observation data before therapy was 21 points, after total activity therapy was 12 points. This shows that there is a significant effect of giving activity therapy to write istighfar on changes in auditory hallucinations in patients with schizophrenia.
