Abstract
Hypertension is a disease in which blood pressure rises above the normal value. In fact, many people have high blood pressure for years but do not know it, whereas only 27% of hypertensive sufferers control their blood pressure adequately. Patients are aware of new conditions if hypertension has caused complications in the heart, blockage of blood vessels, to the rupture of blood vessels in the brain resulting in death. Hypertension factors occur in people who do not have regular exercise habits. More exercise is associated with the treatment of hypertension because regular exercise can lower blood pressure. This research was conducted in February 2017 on proline participants of Kebandaran Public Health Center (Puskesmas Kebandaran). This study used total cross sectional sampling. The data obtained is then analyzed by descriptive percentage analysis on the variable of knowledge level and compliance variable. Then linked between the level of knowledge of hypertension treatment with prolanic exercise adherence. Result of research from 30 respondents obtained ρ value = 0,005 indicate that there is significant correlation between knowledge about hypertension handling with compliance of proline implementation because ρ value less than α (0,005 ˂ 0,05). Recommendation from the researcher that Prolanis implementing nurses can improve the quality of service by improving the quality of service providers, improving professional skills such as counseling training, counseling skills training, and refreshing knowledge about the treatment of hypertension and proline participants to further improve adherence. In running Prolanis. Keywords: level of knowledge, compliance, prolanis gymnastics.
